Year end

If ever there was a year that didn't turn out as planned, this was it. But then it did as well!

The big picture is just as it should be, and that's the main thing. As I discovered yesterday, I am a 'lifestyle entrepreneur' (I'll find the link), which is someone who created a business as part of a lifestyle plan, not just to make money. Aparently we're a growing breed. I didn't even know we existed, I thought I was just unusual.

The detail on the other hand, well that has been almost all different from the plan. The contracts I've had, the ones I haven't had, how they've worked out. Financially, the year has been pretty mad. A massive highlight is that I've managed to do more creative things, and I'm very happy with that.

The blogs I've started are all still going. Francerant is the most successful so far, and I've learned a lot during the year. So I have some ideas I'm going to start doing after the holidays, including here. Some of the subjects I've talked about I'll be revisiting with links and thoughts from elsewhere to spice them up, like this. I hope you'll be back to join in during 2006.

In the meantime, I wish you a happy and healthy end of the year. Fire in your chimney and salt on your table.
