Structure and roots

Always a big issue. How do you bring together some structure and organic things like plants or people? A lot depends on h0w much change your project lives through. Building your project garden around the plants is better the more change there is. Whatever structure you go for, let the plants grow over it, around it or through it. Sometimes you get a new structure which might give you a new garden design. Adapt and grow through your plants. Balance this kind of organic change with a study of the roots. What do the plants need to sustain them? As the garden changes, as the structure develops with it, some plants just won't have the conditions their roots need. Transplant? Prune? Replace?
